How Much Do Lip Injections Cost?
If you elect to have lip injections at Baldone Reina Dermatology, you will first have a consultation with one of our board-certified dermatologists. During this consultation, we will assess your current condition and your treatment goals in order to determine the best approach to your lip enhancement treatment. Once these variables are taking into consideration, we will be able to provide you with the cost of treatment and any associated fees.
What is the Lip Injection Treatment Like?
Before your lip injection treatment, apply a topical anesthetic 30-45 minutes prior to minimize any discomfort that may occur during the injection process. A topical anesthetic is available for purchase at our office. The dermal filler product will then be injected into and around the lips. Once injected, the lips may be lightly massaged to evenly distribute the dermal filler throughout the lips. Lip injections take less than 30 minutes to complete, making this treatment a great option for patients with a busy schedule.
What is the Recovery Period Like Following Lip Injections?
After your lip injections, you may experience swelling, bruising or sensitivity in the lips. These are common side effects of treatment, and will typically fade within a day or two. Despite these minor side effects, you will be able to return to work and all other normal activities immediately following your appointment. There is no downtime or recovery period involved.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from My Lip Injections?
The results from your lip injection treatment will be visible immediately. Once swelling fades, your final results will become noticeable. The duration of these results will depend on the dermal filler product used during treatment but should range from six months to one year.
