What is the Eyelid Rejuvenation Treatment Like?
The eyelid rejuvenation treatment is a three-step process. During the first step, the Fotona laser device is passed over the skin delivering laser energy to heat the skin and stimulate collagen production. Then, the device is passed over the skin a second time. On the second pass, a different laser energy is used to carefully exfoliate damaged and aged skin, creating space for new, healthy skin to grow. Finally, a third pass is performed, exfoliating the outermost layer of skin with light laser energy to remove superficial imperfections and to complete the treatment.
What is the Recovery Period Like Following Eyelid Rejuvenation?
After eyelid rejuvenation, you will be able to return to your normal activities immediately. However, you may notice redness or sensitivity in the treated areas due to the recent exfoliation of the outermost layers of skin.
