What is Juvederm®
Juvederm® is a family of dermal filler products that are used to restore facial volume by smoothing out the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles. How Much Does Juvederm® Cost?
If you choose to pursue a Juvederm® treatment at Baldone Reina Dermatology, you will first have a consultation with one of our board-certified dermatologists. During this consultation, we will assess your current condition and your treatment goals in order to determine the best approach for your Juvederm® treatment. Once these variables are evaluated, we will be able to provide you with the cost of treatment and any associated fees.
What is the Juvederm® Treatment Like?
Before your Juvederm® treatment, apply a topical anesthetic 30-45 minutes prior to minimize any discomfort that may occur during the injection process. A topical anesthetic is available for purchase at our office. All of the Juvederm® products we carry also include lidocaine, a local numbing agent, which helps to further minimize any discomfort. A number of injections will be made in and around the desired treatment area, based on your unique treatment plan. The Juvederm® treatment takes less than 30 minutes, making it a great option for patients with a busy schedule.
What is the Recovery Period Like Following Juvederm®?
After your Juvederm® treatment, you may experience swelling, bruising or sensitivity in the treatment area. These are common effects of treatment, and typically fade within a day or two. Despite these minor side effects, you will be able to return to work and all other normal activities immediately following your appointment. There is no downtime or recovery period involved with Juvederm®.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Juvederm®?
The results from Juvederm® will be visible immediately upon injection as the Juvederm® formula adds volume to the face and smooths out facial lines and wrinkles. The duration of your results will depend on the Juvederm® product used, but can last as long as two years.
