Meet Dr. Baldone, Covington Dermatologist

Dr. Rhonda R. Baldone is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, cosmetic, surgical and laser dermatology. Dr. Baldone is an honor graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed an internship in internal medicine at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital followed by a residency in dermatology at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans where she holds an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology. Dr. Baldone established her dermatology practice in Mandeville in 1998. In addition to private practice and training residents, Dr. Baldone is a participant in clinical trials to advance development of safe, effective treatments for the advancement of medicine. Dr. Baldone is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the Women’s Dermatological Society and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is also a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, St. Tammany Parish Medical Society, the New Orleans Women’s Dermatologic Journal Club and the Louisiana Dermatological Society, for which she served as secretary. Dr. Baldone has served as the State Chair of the Leader’s Society of the Dermatology Foundation and is on the medical staff of University Medical Center in New Orleans. She currently resides in Mandeville with her husband, David, who is an anesthesiologist.
